Sears Tower to be renamed

It is official. The Sears Tower is going to be re-named Willis Tower. Willis Group, a broker agency in London purchased the naming rights and is going to re-name the building "to display it's loyalty to the city." I'm sorry, but what they are saying is bogus.

Chicagoans are in an uproar over the re-naming of the historic landmark, the tallest building west of the Prime Meridian. Something must be done to stop this. Many other Chicago landmarks have already been re-named, and we can't let Chicago's most sacred be re-named also. Chicagoans have always been very proud to have one of earth's tallest buildings, and now that building is being disrespected.

Please visit the website www.ItsTheSearsTower.com and sign the petition. Then copy and paste this address into your browser: http://www.willis.com/Contact_Us/Feedback/ and send Willid Group a message about what you think of all of this. We need your help. Chicago needs your help. Even if you aren't from Chicago, do this. It makes a big difference.
