I know some out there might be groaning right now because many people do not like politics. However, many people do like politics. I thought that because many newspapers and blogs are releasing endorsements around this time so I thought I would, too.
However, I couldn't get every single race in all of Chicago in so I did the major ones and the most important and closely contested local races.
Here are the 2008 Windy City Sports Blog's Political Endorsements:
President of the United States: John McCain (R)
Vice President of the United States: Sarah Palin (R)
10th Congressional District of Illinois: Mark Kirk (R)
7th Congressional District of Illinois: Steve Miller (R)
Illinois Senator: Steve Sauerberg (R)
Cook County State's Attorney: Anthony Peraica (R)
Illinois State Senator (Chicago): Jason Allen Braswell (R)
I hope you'll take these endorsements into consideration as I believe that they are the right candidates to lead.
